This project presented a fascinating challenge as two flats on the top floor had to be merged via the communal staircase. Upon arrival, we discovered that the roof of the building had been elevated and the previous carpentry was unused in the attic. We opted to open the ceiling and expose the old structure, which provided a unique and visually stunning effect. To create a sense of spaciousness, we endeavored to keep all the facades free from separation walls.

The living room boasts an open-plan layout with a natural-finish wood floor that extends throughout the space, imbuing warmth and character. The light-colored, minimalist coffee table, featuring clean lines and a smooth finish, is centrally located. Against one wall, the grey sofa, with its comfortable and inviting design, maximizes space. An elegant, standing curve lamp provides soft, ambient lighting.

The exposed wooden beams are a highlight of the space, adding an industrial touch to the interior design. The frames on the floor, placed strategically throughout, feature vintage posters and pictures, lending a personal touch. The flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, with its sleek and minimalist design, is a focal point of the living room. It is connected to a surround sound system, providing an immersive audio experience.

Overall, this Parisian living room offers a modern and minimalist design with an industrial touch. It is a cozy and inviting space that is perfect for relaxation and entertaining guests.
